“…precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little.” – Isaiah 28:13

Unutterable Utterer,
Isaiah passes along some strange words;
even stranger coming from you, baruch ha'shem,
whom we call The Word.
Worse,
the mad purpose behind this nursery rhyme
is to make us "fall backward, be broken, and snared and taken."
Heaven protect us!
(But wait, that's where these words come from!)
G*d,
we already have a babble of words.
We need words like:
clarity and coherent,
pure and precise.
A word
simple and spirit-full, like Light
luminescent.
Amen.
