Perfectly Imperfect

I want to be perfectly good enough;
Not so as I am the first one across a finish line
Nor the fastest to complete a good book
Nor the one who plunges deepest into the depths
Nor to sing a melody in the brightest of voices
Nor to be adorned by riches of gold and jewels
Nor to see all the wonders of the world;
To simply be perfectly imperfect in all that I am.
