Hearer, O Hearer, It's the dark sayings from of old, that frighten us. Children hide for fear of what the next adult parable havocs in their tiny lives; though curiosity draws them out of hiding places to see what the crazy ancestors always do next. Decrees. Laws. Commandments. A messy mix more fit for eating than to place into ears that hear. Continue to work your works, God, so we will not forget. Sometimes forgetfulness saves. Amen.
I will utter dark sayings from of old… Psalm 78:2
